The managing agent is responsible for building issues, generally arising outside your flat e.g:

  • Heating / Hot + Cold Water
  • Fire alarms in common areas
  • Bins
  • Cleaning
  • Lifts
  • Door entry
  • Car park gates
  • Shared services e.g. Sky TV system
  • General maintenance and repairs

They will not be able to help with any issues inside your flat, unless it's something requiring their intervention , e.g. a water leak in to your flat coming from common heating or water pipes, or there is a water leak with your radiators requiring heating engineers to shut down the system to enable you to safely fix it.
